B2005: Why Don’t We Have That?

Smoke Alarms
There is always something I've always wondered from the moment I moved into my room and its a little bit baffling at first glance.

Why does my room have two smoke alarms?

I mean, I thought it was just a fluke in my room or something, but when i look at my housemat's rooms, I also the fact that they have two smoke alarms in their rooms. So naturally, it brings about a very very obvious question.

Why are there two smoke alarms?

I mean, I don't think it's because they know I'm going to move in and with my history of making high explosives, they took extra precaution aroud the house. I don't think it's because there are a lot of asian people in the house and they thought with all the cooking, they might as well prepare for a fire.

So why is it there?

Such is the mystery of life.

Why have two when you can get away with one?

Maybe it's a symbolism of man's greed.

Yeah…that must be it. It symbolises greed, does the two fire alarms.

God I need a better thing to write about.
