You know it, it feels like it’s been too long but we’ve finally reached the 18th hour which means we’re about 3/4ths into the Blogathon and 6 more hours left until the end. At this point, I’m expecting my second slump to hit me some time soon. Either that or my body is surprisingly coping with the stress of being awake for more than 24 hours.
It doesn’t matter at this point because while I haven’t been taking any coffee at all for the duration of the Blogathon, in about a couple of hours, I’ll be pumped high full of sugar and caffeine to give me that extra push right till the end of the Blogathon.
Writing about cancer in a stretch has been a new experience for me. Never have I read and absorbed so much for something that has nothing to do with my studies. But I’ll have to save those thoughts for later. For now though, it’s just one post at a time, inching it’s way forward. We will reach the end that’s for sure and we’ll do so with our heads held high and our eye bags enough to keep things in them.
What a way to exit.
This year Footsteps in the Mirror will be blogging to raise money for the Association for International Cancer Research which is a non-profit organisation that helps fund cancer research throughout the world. If you’re willing to help, you can sign up on the Blogathon website and pledge your amount right here. Help make a difference, no matter how small it may be.
