Blogathon isn't without publicity. For what it's worth, you still need a little colour and spice to draw attention to your cause. Given that I've dabbled in Photoshop before, here are some Blogathon banners and graphics I've tossed together to spread the good word around.
234×60 Banners:

180x 150 Banners:

100×100 Avatar Graphics:

88×31 Chicklets

468×60 Banners

Aside from all those. I've taken to designing custom Blogathon banners for other Blogathoners in return for being sponsored for Blogathon. It's a way to put those untapped skills to work and given the need for graphics to advertise for the Blogathon, putting the money earned by doing this into my charity isn't a bad idea.
Having said that, if anyone wants custom banners that is related to Blogathon, don't hesitate to contact me. All I ask is that in return, you pledge and donate about $5-10 dollars (depending on how generous you are) to the Association for International Cancer Research per this link. Given that very few of us are naturally altruistic, I thought this little trade in return is enough to raise some money for a good cause.
Surprisingly there are only a very few contributions to the designing Blogathon banners and the only other person that I know off designing the graphical schwag on a similar scale is Pelf who is blogging for the Eden Handicap Service Centre. Either way, it's always good to know that people would go out of their way to contribute for a good reason.
This year Footsteps in the Mirror will be blogging to raise money for the Association for International Cancer Research which is a non-profit organisation that helps fund cancer research throughout the world. If you're willing to help, you can sign up on the Blogathon website and pledge your amount right here. Help make a difference, no matter how small it may be.
