That's right. It's out and it's new. Blogathon 2006 has opened it's doors for participants to join and for sponsors to pledge. This year it's all about the same cause as I did last year but with a whole new orginization. This year, I'm supporting the strike against the very heart of cancer. My pledge is all about the Association for International Cancer Research which helps fund cancer research throughout the world in the hopes that we can find ways of stopping the various forms of cancer in its tracks.

I don't have to tell you that it's generally a good thing for everyone to stop cancer, especially for the young and innocent. I do hope that somewhere in that noggin of yours is a conscience that knows what the right thing is. Even if it is a paltry sum, every bit helps to give scientist the opportunity to continue their research…and I can tell you from experience, research is not exactly the cheapest thing in the world to maintain, more so something on so large and epic a scale as cancer.
