There will come a time throughout this Blogathon where people will start questioning the information I'm putting out. For the record I'd like to say that no, it's not a bunch of information I cobbled out from wikipedia or cancer sites all around. Everything I write here comes straight off the textbooks and notes that I study with regarding cancer cytopathology.
Why? Because that's part of subjects I take studying Medical Science Pathology. What I offer you is the truth. Nothing fibbed. Nothing ulterior. The information that I write here is to inform the public regarding what cancer really is and dispell the misconceptions the general public has about cancer. What you do with that knowledge is entirely up to you.
But maybe it's time to start reading and understanding with an open critical mind rather than a closed one.
This year Footsteps in the Mirror will be blogging to raise money for the Association for International Cancer Research which is a non-profit organisation that helps fund cancer research throughout the world. If you're willing to help, you can sign up on the Blogathon website and pledge your amount right here. Help make a difference, no matter how small it may be.

Probably it’s a good idea to back your claim with some references, just to direct the readers to the right source if they wish to find out more. Even by doing so, there are many areas in science that are not black and white, ie there can be differing opinions/arguments/theory put forward by different groups of scientists.

True, then again I’m writing on a time line here and it’s not like we can prepare our posts before hand. It’s bad I know, I’ll probably clear it up with proper referencing when Blogathon is over.

That’s true as well, but you’re doing great…keep it up!

I’ll second that. My ‘going out to do some chores’ ended up sitting in a pub having talks. Enjoying life. You’re doing a great job. Dinner for me now and then… maybe another drink? I hope I don’t get emotional when I return…

Actually that’s what I’m doing — cleaning up the Blogathon posts, but I don’t need references to back up my posts, just wanted to run a spell and grammar check on all my posts that were written within 30 minutes =)
