Tomorrow marks my 4th year of blogging. Of all the handful of ideas thrown about over the past week, I’ve yet to actually start on it. In fact, I still don’t have a clear picture in my mind how I’m going to go about it at all. Talk about having a big celebration.
I suppose I was expecting too much when asking people for their ideas on what they would like to see for my 4th anniversary post. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that there weren’t good ideas in the first place, just there wasn’t much variation of ideas to begin with. With the time, knowledge and equipment that I have, its hard to accomplish what you have suggested. So I’m afraid, I’ll have to pass on the ideas and go back to square one.
What I can do however is what I do best at my disposal. Given that it’s my blog, I’m sure I can think of something. Or maybe I don’t have to think at all. Maybe some of the best celebrations in life are the ones where you close your eyes and pick out the first thing that comes to mind. Spectacular fireworks notwithstanding, maybe simplicity would do a better job than being overly complicated. Given Footsteps in the Mirror’s track record for giving a whole new perspective to the complex things in life, maybe we should go with what I started out with.
The simple words and a simple hope that this might lead to somewhere interesting.
After all, nobody said that going back to the beginning was such a bad idea.
