Google Earth’s Snapshot Of My Life

Even though it's been out for a while, apparently I just found out that Google Earth recently updated their maps…to show you detailed pictures of good ol' KL. Well…it's not really that updated. It turns out that the map is actually an imagery of say the middle of the year 2004 because there are a lot of things in there that hasn't showed up yet even though I know it's been built or torn down.

Being that I'm like thousands of miles away in the middle of nowhere, I thought I'd take a stroll down memory lane. So because I have nothing better to do, I present to you now the Educational History of Edrei.

See the red circle? See it?
That is my neighbourhood. That red circle is my house. My house is nice. My house says hello.

A little further away from my house
My old primary school. It brings back memories. Like head being hit by a rock and being kicked. Ouch. Painful memories. Don't want to remember them anymore. Angry already.

A little closer to home
My old high school. It changed everything in my life. It made me the person I am today. A hardened melancholic with lots of scars. Don't want to remember them anymore. Angry already.

A little closer to home...again
College life. Exactly as I imagined. Free to be everything I could be. Brings back memories of primary school without the rock on head and being kicked. It was a good time. Not angry already.

A little taste of heaven and hell
The next level. It was bittersweet. Mostly sweet. Then again love always is sweet. Until it becomes bitter. Hmmm…angry already.

A blank slate
No memories here. They moved the old college here. Thank God I'm not there anymore. Don't go there. Really.

Very very very far away from home
Where I am now. So far out in nowhere that Google doesn't even have a satellite image of it. There are good times. There are bad times. Can be angry. Can be happy also. Cannot decide which to be. So I shall be angry to be happy. Or happy to be angry. Don't know which. But glad I made it this far anyway.

That pretty much sums it up the history lesson for now. It's nice to know that some things will always be there. I just wonder what other things I can dig of next. Maybe I'll see if I can find her house from here. I wonder if that's considered illegal or not? Go figure.
