"You never know how much junk you've collected until you start moving out."
The thing about memories is that they are like the things you've collected as you lived through the years. Most of it are just junk that you didn't realize you hold on to until you decide to clear things out. A precious few are really treasured enough to keep forever.
It's going to be a hectic household this weekend. A far cry from the peace and quiet I resign myself to escape the busy weekdays. With old friends moving away and new people moving in at the same time. What's left is to clear out the old and unneeded to make way for the new and practical. Going with it are the memories shared, remembered and treasured, letting go of ancient histories in place of creating something new.
A lot has happened since I moved into this house. Yet somehow, with every step of change along the way, it always feels like I'm moving into some place new. That's just as well, we all need a breath of fresh air every once in a while.
Why not make new memories of it?

Wow, I think you may have hit the nail on the head there.

I know what you mean. I’ll be moving to go back to school next week, and the change always messes with my relationships.

Tracey: More nails where that comes from.
Aaron: That’s life isn’t it. We constantly move from one room to another? All that’s left is the relationships we have with the people in the room at the moment.
