"You think we're always be friends for life?"

If things were different between us, I've always wondered what might happen? Yet here in this world, in this time and place, a guy and a girl can be best of friends without any qualms or tension. Of course, there might be that fleeting edge of intimate companionship and desired lust, but we're only human beings that have known each other for years as it is and at the end of the day, I wouldn't put that between what we already have now for ourselves and for each other.

"Yeah I do. I've always told you things that I've never told anyone else. I've never been more comfortable sharing things with you than with any other person."

I guess, somewhere along that line, she wouldn't put anything between us as friends for as long as we share the same road in life. Which is just as well, I am lucky to have someone like her as a friend. I like to believe that maybe, she feels the same way about me too.
