As I sit here in the final hour of the last 30 days, I cannot help but feel a certain serenity in the light of it all. For we have endured many perils to reach the end of the line, and at the same time lived our lives with eventfulness in spite of our mission.
Such is the ambition of our passions and desires and in its completeness we are at peace. With that one can only expect to raise a bar greater than the one we have previously surpassed, a standard in which we look forward in fevered anticipation 365 days from now.
I salute each and every one of us, soldiers, who dared take on the challenge few would undertake. The rest of the world may call us lunatics but I say is not the denial of our dreams an act of insanity?
We, the proud and the few stand tall in light of our own measure of success. That much I can savour the last Pocky on. The glorious victory, with many more words yet to explore.
