Chickybabe For The Semi-Unplugged Easter

I know that Easter was a few days ago, but seeing that I didn't have any net connection to begin with, let me catch up with the things I meant to say.

  1. Green eggs and ham? Well, we might not have had the ham but I dare say that there wasn't any blue eggs in that book either.
    Green Eggs and Blue
  2. Bourbon may not be a traditional classic over Easter, but it is a must when your mind has taken a hike after a long week.
  3. It starts to say something about your life when you begin to hate a 3 and a half day weekend because you can't get any work done. Workaholics comes to mind.
  4. It's enough that I'm happy enough to spend most of my waking moments connected online. But I've often wondered how is it people I know can spend their lives perpetually connected to the net and get any practical work done at all?
  5. There are benefits at least to being known for the person who knows more than a thing or two about computers. Using the laptop of a friend to connect to the net via their WiMax card when you're supposed to be fixing it does sound a little underhanded. But what always matters is that you get the job done in the end…and it shows with your reputation.
  6. You know you're getting older when shoveling more than one chocolate bunny already makes you queasy. Either that or the quality of chocolate is getting worse by the year. Since I'm in denial, I'll opt for the latter possibility.

Doing a "Chickybabe" refers to doing a list of random thoughts and is named in honour of ChickyBabe who awed me with her style of writing, especially when she did her set of random thoughts.

I think I’m getting the gist of these posts by now by replying to each dot point. Am I right?

1 That egg look surreal. I wouldn’t eat it.
2 So is a Martini, sadly I had none.
    3 Nope. Me lazy…
4 Multitasking, working on 3 or more things at once. You need to be female to do that :P
5 And you reap the benefits of free internet.
6 The quality has definitely declined. Because I’m getting younger. Don’t know about you :P

    1. It tasted delicious anyway as all eggs do. :)
    2. We should have one together. Preferably by the balcony overlooking something magnificent.
    4. I often do 4 things at once though. So what does that make me?
    5. Forever 21 as I say. That I can believe.
