Stop Gap Measure

There are times when you can't trust your own sense of judgement. When your sense of reality has been skewed beyond your control, even the most perceptionally rational things may not always be what they seem.

When that happens the best thing you can do is stay away from the things that might make it worse. Quite possibly to also stay away from situations where you would do more harm than good, to yourself and to others. Yet, if can't trust your own judgement, how would you know what you should or should not stay away from? The answer is deceptively simple.

You stay away from everyone and everything.

The question then remains in its entirety. Who would reach out and save you from yourself when you're trapped all alone never knowing whether what you trust is real?

I've yet to find that answer out.
