Chickybabe For The Geeky Blogger

Let's keep this brief.

  1. If you're as tired of comment spam as me. Use Bad Behavior. The only catch is, if your system if infected with spyware or a virus. There is no way you can comment on Bad Behavior protected blogs until you clean out the source of the infection. The new version is out, should ease up on some legitimate bloggers that seem to be blocked.
  2. Like a refreshing change in your Wordpress Admin than just the clunky interface? Try SpotMilk or the WP Tiger Admin plugins for size. It might give you a refreshing boost to your blogging mood.
  3. To be honest, Americans aren't exactly small people. I wonder if the Limited Edition Wordpress T-Shirts will be too big for me. Well, looks like I'll find out in a few weeks.
  4. I realized should have a custom T-Shirt for my own blog printed out. I wonder what my catch phrase should be?
  5. If you're a regular reader to this blog whether you bother to load it or if you just pick it off the feeds. It's time for you to comment. Would you recommend me to other bloggers?

    1. I’m tired of typing captchas!
    2. Does it come with alcohol? :P
    3. And so will we if you post the photo.
    4. Please please don’t let it be ‘Doing a ChickyBabe’!!!
    5. Though I no longer do the Blogroll thing, my regular visits and comments speak for themselves.

    1. I’m using math-comment-spam plugin and have been able to sleep well since.
    2. “It might give you a refreshing boost to your blogging mood..” As well as rob you of your time to do REAL WORK..
    3. I thought so too! But then again, I do not have a credit card so I didn’t order it.
    4. Maybe you do not need any catch phrase. The penguin is sufficient :)
    5. Yes I will. And I will tell them to catch you if they ever encounter WP-related problems, because “this guy will solve it for you” :)

    ChickyBabe:
    1. I know you’re using captchas. I would love for you to move to Wordpress based blogging, but I know how much you already love your blog as it is. Still…it is the geeky thing to do if you got the time for it. :)
    2. No…but that wouldn’t stop you from having it with it nevertheless. :)
    3. Oh definitely. To be geek and loving it. :)
    4. “Doing a ChickyBabe” isn’t so bad. “Doing ChickyBabe” Now that’s something really wrong. Not that I haven’t drifted that thought somewhere in there, but that’s a different time and place. :P
    5. That they do and I appreciate your visits a lot especially on your busy schedules. :)

    Pelf:
    1. That can be as annoying as Captcha unfortunately. Seriously, since you’re using Wordpress, you can go for something a little more automated. Bad Behavior and Akismet work wonders together.
    2. What’s this “real work” I’ve been hearing so much about?
    3. Even if you did, you need an American address to send it to. That was my problem to begin with. Though…its good to have contacts in the states to help out. :)
    4. A picture is worth a thousand words eh? Maybe that is a good idea. :)
    5. Haha, that’s good…unfortunately other people seem to have taken over the job I set out to start in the first place. It’s good, but I miss that position of power that I had. I still like to be known for just me. :)

    4. Just the penguin will do, like what pelf said.

    5. Bloglines, but that’s only because I’m lazy to comment. Yes, would recommend you as that “fix-it upper guy.”
