There Is A Huge Fucking Difference

Some bloggers are just too catatonically stupid to have a decent conversation with. I don’t know whether that are so dumb that their brains suddenly decided to run away in the middle of the night and what’s left in their heads are something that’s keeping them alive…or they have some genetic problem that causes them to lose all common sense altogether.

I don’t know which is which and frankly I couldn’t care less on what is afflicting them. But let me put what I want to say in a language that I pray to God everyone can understand.

There. Is. A. Difference. Between. Flaming. And. Commenting.

This is why there are days where I haven’t had the urge to comment on other people’s blog. First it was this which lead to this and thus this. Now it’s this. It’s so mind-numbingly “duh” that I’m afraid MY own brains will attempt to escape for fear of the sheer stupidity of the situation. I already have the migraine from the two kinds of people here, namely:

  1. People who suddenly develop sensitivity to comments that have nothing to do with them and publicly lash out at innocent bystanders who want nothing more than to comment in their friend’s blog.
  2. People who think that any opinion opposed to theirs is the same as flaming and should be considered enemies of the state and given the best tongue lashing (the mean kind not the dirty kind) that they can muster.

Where did the blogosphere start to go wrong and start being populated by pretentious newbies like this? When the fuck did it happen anyway? I remember an age of blogging when everyone knew everyone and the blogosphere was a civil place where you can write and comment without offending anyone because everyone had the responsibility to be sensible. Now, I can’t seem to open my mouth without someone trying to pick a fight. Which woodwork did all you fuckers come from?!

But enough already, this has gone far enough for me. I don’t care what senseless popularity whoring squabbles you people want to take up but it’s a complete waste of my time. It’s best to wash my hands of this right now before I end up trying to scrub the flesh of my bones because that’s how dirty this sticky mess is.

This part of the blogosphere has become one huge cesspool of jealousy ridden, hypocritical, trigger happy bunch of hill-billies hicks without culture nor civility. The worse part is that it’s our part of the blogosphere. Now that’s my cue to say…we’re fucked.

  1. Stupid people keep ticking me off and if I don’t get it off my chest, I feel like I’ll explode. I don’t like to dirty my computer.

  2. 3 simultaneous post with the word “fucking”…
you must be in great anger… o_O

  3. I know I’m certainly enjoying sitting in the middle of the fence because I’m constantly cumming. Painful but someone’s gotta do it. Err…

Don’t know about you guys though. Don’t be shittin’ with me now.

  4. There seems to be a lot of blog wars, angst and jealousies out there at the moment. I’ve seen it go round in circles then it is totally forgotten … until the next time.

Human nature is showing its ugly side even in the blogosphere. Pfft… I try to stay clear of it in life; I don’t need it in blogging too!

  5. Eyeris: Fence very painful sometimes. Butt hurts.

Swifty: Professional Wrestling, its superficial and very very…well…it ain’t my cup of tea for a long time now.

Kenny: When butt even more painful, toilet makes it worse.

Lionel: You’re quite low profile too you know.

Geminigeek: Anger is the tool of the dark side. Or just a very very rantful week.

    Dee: No comment. 😛

Chickybabe: It’s a neverending circle alright. Then again…aren’t human beings the ones that are blogging? Which sadly means that this nature would be out there too. The sadder thing to all this is that we’re all more true to ourselves online. We narcissistic bloggers.

  6. just wondering, has anyone blogged about the difference between flaming and commenting?blog post: being left-handed has its advantages. commenting: really? i’m ambidextrous and i think being right-handed is better because scissors and nail-clippers are made for right-handed people. it’s more convenient.flaming: wtf? you’re an idiot! of course being right-handed is better! you must be some retard to think otherwise. everything is made for right-handed people, you arse. @#$%^^&!

sigh. it’s so pointless lah. don’t get too worked up about it ok? *pat on the back*

  7. hear hear! well said, edrei. that’s how i felt too. agree whole-heartedly with chickybabe too.

it’s sad to see what blogosphere had become. all these fights, squables, names calling, jealousy, etc. that is going on. i remember reading somewhere someone wrote something about how sad it is to see people can stoop so low to attack another person s/he doesn’t know personally (in real life) – well i’m sure many of those who attacked XX does not know her personally… so why they do it… esp. if they do it just because their ‘clique’ friends are doing it.

of course i’m not talking about XX only – it’s just an example.

“i can seem to open my mouth without someone trying to pick a fight.”
i find this very true. .. which also goes together with the part about when having difference of opinion, people will attack you. another thing is if you were to say something that is contrary to the popular view, people will attack you too or label you as a wet blanket or spoilsport. *sigh* we just can’t win.

anyway i have learned not to bother about such people. i’ll say what i like to say and if people don’t like what i say, who cares!

  8. When I saw this post , I was so panic. Like GeminiGeek said, 3 consecutive ‘fucking’ posts. Because recently I did email kamigoroshi for some help but the last email was not replied.
I moused over the links he mentioned and did not see my link, I hope I did not stirred you up.

  9. Cubchai: Whoops, your mail went into my junk for some reason, thats why I didn’t see it, sorry. Nah…it has nothing to do with you. Don’t be so sensitive laa.

  10. Hehe, i think i am like you too, don’t like to be irritated. Therefore I have to ask first before I irritate someone.

  11. mmm….I prefer to just steer clear of the whole thing and not comment at all (only seems to fan the fire otherwise)

  12. but then hor,the drama with the blog flaming, etc are fun to read! ha ha ha okay whatever.
