I Am Agitated…

Kids…this is one of those times that being a perfectionist can be hard on you.

Don’t you just hate it when you finish doing something you thought was so nice, it kinda backfires on you and you may need to do some major overhauling. Yeah…I’m talking about the blog’s new layout. It isn’t as…veiwer friendly as I thought it would be. A quarter of you are using 800 by 600 resolution. Another quarter of you are using Mozilla or Opera by default. The rest of you can see the whole page except the bottom part which you may need to use full screen instead. Thanks for all the recomendations, I’ll see what I can do…but there is so much I can do with what I know…

The next best thing is I at least try to use IFrames. At least I can redirect some of you to view it in an 800 by 600 page layout using the same blog. But…bare with me please…my knowledge of webdesign is severely limited. I know more about RNA Polymerases than I do about coding my own site.

Still…I guess it applies for all sorts of things. You work your butt off trying to do something to the best of your abilities. Then when you give that sigh of relief that it is done…you find out that you are not just tweaking it….you may need to change large parts of it again to ensure other people find it…compatible. Somehow it just feels…anticlimatic. I mean you put all your energy into doing something, then when you find out it’s all gone wrong somehow, it just…takes something out of you. I have half a mind to leave the page as it is until I find the need to change the layout again.

Then again I’m constantly reminded that even if you try and balance appearence and content, if your outlook isn’t going to cut it with people, you’re going to lose a whole lot more than you set yourself up to give. Maybe I’m just trying too hard…but it still doesn’t stop people from not being able to view my page. Yeah…I’ll TRY to find the time to work on the problem. I just have to do some code digging that’s all. Maybe learn more CSS while I’m at it.

Yeah…I wish that was the least of my problems…I seriously do…
