The Not-So-Sensual Self Discovery…

I said it before and I say it again, no matter how much problems I seem to be throwing up from my conversion to WordPress, the good folks down at the WordPress IRC channel never seem to run out of answers and just take everything I throw at them. I swear, I must be one of the most troublesome WordPress users to date with all the problems I have ran into so far.

It's amazing I haven't ran into problems no one has faced yet.

I finally looked over the codes for the layouts and I realise redesigning the new layout is going to be slightly more harder (or rather improbable) than I thought it would be. In fact, even if I try to redesign it, it wouldn't be from scratch because there is no way in hell I am going to learn how to manipulate PHP within the next few days. The least I can do is personalise this layout that everone seems to be agreeing with so far and see how far I can go.

Then again it's going to be a slow ongoing process.

As always it's bad timing that I just happen to pull this switch now that the holidays are coming to an end and I really do have some work to do rather than just sit in my room all day long. It's just that there are too many things to do and unless I want to really screw up my life, I have to get all my priorities back into order.

Not an easy thing to do when you're really tempted to play with a new toy.

Well the best I can do right now is tweak the codes, push the limits. Basically do everything that I always have been doing for as long as I can remember. I'm a born a geek and this is what geeks do anyway.,.and if there is a unwritten motto somewhere among any class of geeks, it's that If you can't find a solution.

Improvise its ass.

There is only one problem.

I can't find where the ass is.

I wonder if the folks down at #wordpress can help me out on that.
